  • 4 pound(s) Pork Belly, skin on
  • 3 tablespoon(s) Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 cup(s) Orange Juice
  • 1/4 cup(s) Rice Wine
  • 3 tablespoon(s) Soy Sauce
  • 2 Star Anise
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup(s) Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Sesame Oil
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Ginger Paste
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Garlic Paste
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Adam's Southern Citrus Honey
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Jody's Asian Persuasion Rub
  • Step 1: Burning the recteq Ultimate Blend Pellet, preheat your recteq to 400°F.
  • Step 2: Place the pork belly on the cutting board and use your chef knife to score the skin side of belly. Salt the skin side, allowing the salt into slits in skin. Let rest for 10-15 minutes.
  • Step 3: While pork is resting, in the steamer pan add all other ingredients and mix until well combined.
  • Step 4: Place belly, skin side up, into steamer pan and place in recteq. Cook to an internal temp of 185°F. Remove from recteq and allow to rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
