ABOUT OUR ADS
Effective Date: July 28, 2025
WE USE CERTAIN TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
We collect personal information about users over time and across different websites when you use this website or service. We also have third parties that collect personal information this way. To do this, we use several common tracking tools. These may include browser cookies. We may also use web beacons, flash cookies, and similar technologies.
Our vendors may also use these tools. In this policy “we” and “us” refers to recteq, LLC (“recteq,” “we,” or “us”), our advertising vendors and partners.
WE USE TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES FOR A VARIETY OF REASONS
We use tracking tools:
- To recognize new or past customers.
- To create custom audiences to target our advertisements (see below for instructions on how to opt-out of the cookies we may use for these purposes).
- To store your password if you are registered on our site.
- To improve our website and to better understand your visits on our platforms.
- To understand how you interact with our email messages.
- To measure the effectiveness of our marketing and advertising campaigns.
- To integrate with third-party social media websites.
- To serve you with interest-based or targeted advertising both on our Platform and on other websites (see below for more on interest-based advertising).
- To identify how you found our website.
- To observe your behaviors and browsing activities over time across email, multiple websites or other platforms.
- To better understand the interests of our customers and our website visitors.
WE ENGAGE IN INTEREST
BASED ADVERTISING
We display interest-based advertising using information gathered about you over time across multiple websites or other platforms.
Interest-based advertising or “online behavioral advertising” includes ads served to you after you leave our website, encouraging you to return. They also include ads we think are relevant based on your browsing habits or online activities. These ads might be served on our Platform or other websites. They might also be served in emails. We might serve these ads, or third parties may serve ads. They might be about our products or other companies’ products.
HOW DO WE GATHER RELEVANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU FOR INTEREST-BASED ADVERTISING?
To decide what is relevant to you, we use information you make available to us when you interact with us, our affiliates, and other third parties. We gather this information using the tracking tools described above. For example, we might look at your browsing behaviors. We might also look at your location. We might look at these activities on our platforms or the platforms of others.
We work with third parties who help gather this information. These third parties might link your name or email address to other information they collect. That might include past purchases made offline or online. Or, it might include online usage information.
YOU CAN CONTROL CERTAIN TRACKING TOOLS
Browser Cookies
You can adjust your browser settings to accept, reject, or delete cookies. This allows you to block non-essential cookies or require approval before they are set. Instructions vary by browser. Click here for more information or search your browser’s support resources. Please note that disabling cookies may affect site functionality.
Google Analytics (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how users interact with our website. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on or adjusting ad settings in your Google account.
Facebook / Meta Tracking
We may use Meta (Facebook) technologies to deliver interest-based ads. You can adjust your ad preferences via Facebook’s Ad Settings, or manage opt-outs at the industry level (see below).
Email Tracking
Some emails we send may include tracking pixels to help us understand engagement. You can limit this by configuring your email client to block image downloads by default.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
If your browser or extension supports the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, and you have it enabled, we will treat this as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, as required by CPRA.
Important Notes
- Some settings (including opt-outs) are browser and device-specific, so you may need to repeat them across devices and browsers.
- Blocking or deleting cookies does not stop all tracking, especially those based on device IDs or server-side data transfers.
YOU CAN OPT-OUT OF INTEREST-BASED ADVERTISING
We and third-party partners may use your data to serve personalized ads based on your activity across other websites and apps. You can opt out of this type of cross-context behavioral advertising:
Industry Opt-Out Tools
- Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA)
- Network Advertising Initiative (NAI)
- YourAdChoices for Mobile Devices
These tools allow you to opt out of data use by participating companies for targeted ads. Note:
- These opt-outs typically apply to cookie-based advertising only
- They may not stop non-cookie-based sharing, such as via device fingerprinting
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
As noted above, if you have GPC enabled, we recognize it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information under applicable privacy laws, including CPRA.
Please remember, your choices are specific to each browser and device you use. If you clear cookies, you may need to reapply your preferences.
